We visited Maya beach where the film "The Beach" was filmed. Just like the movie, it was paradise! Beautiful, clear, blue waters, soft white sand and green surroundings. I could have stayed here all day but unfortunately we still had a few other things to check out. We visited a nearby lagoon, birds nest cave, stopped off twice for snorkeling and ended up on bamboo island for some sun bathing.
Phi Phi islands is a place to see, I only wish we could have stayed longer!
